When you’re looking down at the road, it looks just as flat as any other part. It helps to protect your attitude. Shielding ourselves from upcoming pain can work but often it’s better to be prepared and have a plan. Erm… childbirth anyone?

I recently attended a conference about strategic alliances that took place in a typical conference setting. During the conference, several people presented their cases to the audience, all with a different style. Some presented almost only talking about their company, others barely mentioned their company and focused completely on an alliance case. All presenters created confusion among the audience! That confusion found its root course in the fact that terms were loosely and randomly used.
